Pretty Bird Card
This card combines a bunch of my FAVOURITE things: my new Spellbinders Grand Calibur, colouring with my markers, stamping...AND Cricut! And to top it off, another new favourite passion: hand dyed rayon seam binding. I love how my ribbon came out so juicy - and matching exactly how I wanted it.

St. Patrick's Day Birthday Card I
My sweet, amazing father-in-law turns 87 this week. He is a proud Irishman and we are celebrating his birthday on St. Patrick's Day! We, hs extended family, have rented out a community hall to accomodate his 5 children, their 5 spouses, his 19 grandchildren, 14 grandchildren-in-love, 10 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way! Phew! And yep, the math took me a minute.
This totals 55 plus the man himself!
I made two fun cards, one will be from my husband (the youngest and best of the children) and myself, the second will be from our two youngest children (grandchidren 18 and 19!)
I will feature the first card on this blog post!
I used "Simply Charmed" and cut the leprechaun at 3.5". The shamrocks are from "Spring Holiday Cards" and are cut at 1.5", 2" and 2.5".
I cut the "coil" from a flower from "Art Philosophy" since I am eagerly anticipating my Papertrey Ink die to arrive...
The card is a clear card from CTMH. I printed the leprechaun hair and face on white aper on my Imagine, and pribted his other layers using my stock colours. I then used my AMAZING Spectrum Noir pens to colour his skin and hair.
Sadly his eyebrows were lost in cutting. Poor fella.

Little Boy Smashbook
Well, my sweet sister-in-law loved the baby smashbook so much she asked if I could make one for her older baby, my little nephew, who is four. She loved the idea of the randomness of it, as well as the fact that she isn't a scrapper but can make a unique book.
Of course I was up for the challenge! I had a stack of all boy's paper and some really great boy stamps from My Pink Stamper and CTMH that have been sorely neglected!
I cut out a few Cricut images, made some extra tags and tickets, also stamped from CTMH...cinched it and we were done! Of course it was a little more involved than that, but very fun!
The picture is a bit shiny due to the plastic cover. The cowboy is cut from Paper Doll Dress Up, thr face is of course, Peachy Keen!

Christmas or Not? Doily Card
For this card I used layers of CTMH cardstock in Tulip, Sobet and Juniper. I then stamped SU Delicate Doilies in the same inks, and, although it might not show up here, also clear embossed a couple over the coloured ones. The awesome Juniper ribbon is CTMH.The colours could be Christmasy, or not!
You can order the CTMH from the link on my page, and the SU products from my friend Doris at
Calgary Stamper
The stamp is My Pink Stamper.
